it was FUN! i was very happy...i had always wanted a trip to taiwan when i was still studying in sec4. although i went taiwan before when i was sec1,i still like to go taiwan.this is because...mayday is from taiwan! hahas....and my 2 sis and i can do lots of shopping...my father wouldnt stop us from buying the things we like...hee,good right? finally a good rest after the stressful olevel examination.when we went taiwan,i still dont know my result.by the way,we left singapore to taiwan on the same date as mayday!! but didn meet them though.this trip to taiwan is a free and easy one,without tour packages.i had done quite a lot of researches to the places we want to visit,but in the end,we did not quite follow the schedule.so here our journey begins...  we finally had a chance to take plane from terminal3...my 2 sis and i.it was an early morning...and we checked in and got our air tickets.  i like this photo.inside the departure hall.  singapore airlines! this is the plane we are going to take.  on the plane,surrounded by the clouds,on thousands feet high.  so,this is the busy roads of taiwan.quite colourful eh,the sign boards.then we went to checked in to our hotel and went to ximending for a short walk.  the 2nd day,we went to yangmingshan.with the help of my dad's friend,kunxian,we managed to reached the destination where its surrounded by mist.we went taiwan during gloomy period so its rainy season yea.rain rain rain.we have to bring umbrella all day long...so we didn managed to get a good view of yangmingshan but misty photograph.  me.the back view is nice..sky and misty mountain.  i still think that this picture is so funny..hahs.my 2 sisters are struggling with their umbrella because the wind is too strong.hahs..we were like screaming and yelling for dont know what reason.the wind is really very strong...but the windy and cold weather is nice~~i like it.  the mist/cloud hovering above us so we quickly took picture of that.love it,the scenery is super nice.  it was really very cold as yangmingshan has high altitude,so the weather would tend to be quite cooling.  nice right? i think i used some effect here...i dont know,i forget.hahs  捷運.mrt is our mode of transport through taiwan.notice their seating arrangement has a little difference compared to singapore.this is day 3,we are on our way to danshui(淡水).  this is the danshui street so we walked along to see and shop.its still raining so you notice people are wearing raincoat and holding umbrella.  the scenery of the sea is so nice...but gloomy weather you see...dull sky colour.so we shop around and buy stuffs along the street.bought some local snacks and tried.we tried something new there.it is actually a stall where they arrange many balloons on the wall and you can use the gun to shoot plastic bullets to burst them.of course you have to pay and you'll receive prize if you have done well.i think its a common game in taiwan but we dont have it in singapore.so we tried.and guess what,i burst all of them(1 game=to shoot 10 balloons)!! that was my proud moment manz..that stall vendor also say i 厲害.heehee...we tried several times and on my average,i burst most of it.happy...so together with my sister's shooting score,i got 2 soft toy-mario mickey and chip & dale in bottle.happy and proud=)  at night,we had dinner with my dad's taiwan friend.we are buddhist and this is our shifu.kun xian had helped a lot during our stay here so a big thank you for you is necessary...:) he drove us to yangmingshan,brought us to elite(誠品書店) and gave us directions to the place we wanted to visit.  this is the mrt station.  today's the 4th day and we are on our way to Taipei Astronomical Museum(TAM).also,we took mrt as well to our destination.  busy roads with a common sight of motorcyclists in helmets.  my sisters and i like this alley.nice eh..by the way, we walked all the way to TAM cause we cant find the correct bus to take...  yea! picture time...funny eh?hahas..i was the one who suggest taking photo...interesting right?hahs..i like eh...  so we finally reached TAM!hahas..this photo is super funny lah...we like to take picture of us jumping so we did this time,near the entrance of tam.my big sis's bag just super coincidence covered my 2nd sis's face.hahahaha.....  we tried a lot of times but were not quite succesful..its so tiring ok..keep jumping up and down.the weather is actually quite cold one,but we warm ourself up by jumping around,taking photos.so we forget it,just take a normal and nice one.hahs..actually we reached there quite late and the museum closes at like 4pm++,so we didn manage to try out and read through the stuffs.what a pity...  they gave an explanation about lunar and solar eclipse.quite a detailed one,still got moving moon and earth.of course,the verbal explanation is in mandarin...by the automated machine.  damage of unusual weather.i learnt this is geography...  plate techtonics.i learnt this in geography too...i saw such diagram before and i really felt like im back to sec 4 studying olevel geog.but the explanation wordings are in chinese,hahs.  a diagram of chang heng's seismometer.i got to know this from my pure geog textbook...so when i saw this,i was like.."i saw this in my textbook!!" hahas...i didnt thought i would be able to link my travelling trip to textbooks..  a spaceman.actually there's a screen on the face area and you could stand at a place to make that face you,yourself!so funny la....  the 3 of us,in the astronomical museum.a lot of interesting facts...and many are facts that i learnt in textbooks..like physics and geography.its so cool la-earth,coriolis effect,plate tectonics,concave convex mirror...so on and so forth.its really cool to be able to know this facts before i even visit this museum.i feel that i know everything...hahs.  a picture with the planets.by the way,why isnt pluto a part of the solar system's ninth planet? is it because its too small to be define as planet? i read up on pluto on wikipedia's site but i still dont understand.quite confusing...hah..nevermind.  taiwanese students.they like have the same bag is it?their school windbreaker like so colourful,got pink,bluish green,purple...i quite like their uniform eh,got vest for cold weather.i keep notice the students there...dont know why..is it because i missed being one too?  streets.i love their 7-11 shop there...got sell a lot of things and instant food.nice bread and sushi for sale.i love that sushi and i would like that for breakfast everyday! hahs...ham and egg...yummy =p will miss the nice food there for sure.  ahh!!my idol's shop!im finally able to go there..hee=) happy.mayday's ashin opened this shop selling his designed shirts and accessories.  i was there,yea!really happy.but quite disappointed too...i didn managed to buy the shirts i want.hais...i hope they will sell those shirts in singapore again cause i missed buying it when its for sale in jan,during their outdoor concert.hais...why did i assume they will sell the concert tee in taiwan?i should not have assume,and buy it during the concert queuing time.regret...really.  after shopping spree in all the night markets(shihlin and raohe night markets),shops and streets,these is our precious achievements..hahahs.crazy huh?...a bit la..but being happy is the most important thing...ya..hahs..  us,at ximending=) its the last day already.we were having our last minute shopping at xmd.  we love their 地瓜球.its really delicious=) their local snacks is also very nice,love it too..we would then buy it and eat when we were walking down the night market streets.walk and eat,eat and buy.happy and relax~~  aww..its time to go home.we reached the airport...  me,inside the aircraft...SQ flight.  a map showing how far we are from taiwan to singapore.and here ends my happy and fruitful trip to taiwan.i really enjoyed myself during the 5 days.eat as much as i like,play like there's no tests tomorrow,enjoy as much as i can since the stressful olevel preparation year.when i returned to singapore,i was still able to retrieve my olevel result on the 12jan.just nice,as i wished and planned.ok...shall end this posts.took hours to finish this posts..hahs... taiwan rocks!
